Travelers Rest Motel

Superbly maintained property with grounds for wandering or just sitting and relaxing. Staff was very cordial and helpful. They definitely cared about your comfort. An unexpected perk-You receive a discount coupon for a local businesses at check in. Motel location is excellent for surrounding area activities.

The location was close to all the areas we wanted to visit. We always visit Kitchen Kettle Village and the motel was only a half mile from there. And only about 17 minutes from Shady Maple smorgasbord. They offered us a complimentary 2-hour tour bus tour around the Amish area and a farm. The room was very clean and quiet. It had a king size bed and a small sofa, which were both very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and we had lots of hot water. The room had a Kuerig coffee maker and a remote controlled air conditioner, although it was too cold to use that. Each room has its own dedicated parking spot. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice breakfast. Great location. Extremely clean. Older motel completely refurbished. Everything inside and out was perfect. Nice and quiet. People sitting outside relaxing in the evening near their rooms or in the yard. Barry's Car Barn is close and very nice. Stoltzfus Meats is close and has a restaurant called Amos which was great for soup and sandwiches. Cackleberry Antique Mall very close. Bird-In-Hand Farmers Market had really nice shops there. Not very far to get to outlets and other things. You could walk to Kitchen Kettle Village if you're in good shape.

it was a charming place, centrally located to everything we wanted to see. we liked that we could park right in front of our room with a marked spot & no stairs for my handicapped husband to try to negotiate. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. The breakfast was fine, enough selections to find something to eat, doughnuts, bagels, fruit, etc. plus the waffles & sausage gravy/biscuits & hot oatmeal, fresh every morning. Fresh coffee available all day was a plus, too. The room was fine, beds comfortable & everything was clean. We would stay there again.

The facility was Very clean. Well maintained. The staff were friendly and kind. The continental breakfast was more than adequate. The rooms a good size and very clean. Outlets where needed. Towels good.
